Thanks for all thoughts on grade. I was thinking AU50ish, but still have a ways to go on grading. If these pics are not clear enough I'll try a few more. Tyia. Jon

Sidenote; the reverse has about 11 die cracks in it, better or worse for that I don't know. Would it increase collector interest and value vs without the cracks?

Just to mention on the die cracks I find the ones that come off the hoof like this one are easier to sell so I'd say they add extra interest getting you a little closer to trends prices then ones without the cracks. For grade looks EF-40 to me but could be the picture.

Ty for the replies so far, I was thinking AU range as I can't see evidence of any wear on the high points, ear, legend etc.

EF45
I see wear on the eyebrow, cheek, ear lobe and hair at the temple. On the reverse the lion's paw is fading into the shield portion, the haunches and shoulders of both beasts show wear, and the upper left shield portion shows typical wear in addition to weakness of strike.

Looks like it has lines or half lines. Doesn't look like no design. Start your own post next time if you can!

Really tough to gauge with those photos m_d...

Weak strikes plague this series, so I would want to see the interruption in lustre more. I just can't tell if you have a EF, AU or even weakly struck MS with those photos.
