Hey folks! Just joined and saying hello. I live a busy "dad" life but enjoy my coins when I get some downtime. I'm a history nerd in general, but coin preferences at this early stage of my collecting are ancients and early colonial U.S. Feel free to reach out anytime!  to CCF... I assume you put pontoons on that SUV so you can float along the 'streets' this week? to CCF. I hope you're on high ground. The Houston area is not a good place to be right now (again). It's much drier up here in NE Texas, only 6 inches in my rain gauge this week. |

We are actually SE of Houston; so far we've been lucky as our house was built up high but this was the most water we've had in many years. Trapped by flooded roads and overflowed waterways but not flooded in the house. Thoughts are with those families who weren't as fortunate as we were.
