Bearded-Man-Japenese-Or-Chinese-Token-/-Charm?

Acquired this token / charm today. It is 17mm made out of silver or white metal (non-magnetic) with makers mark on back. Would like to know if it is Japanese or Chinese and if anyone has any information on it. I am posting another unknown token as well.

This looks like a jewlery piece. My guess is it is 'white' metal and not silver. As to who made it, you will have to research the mark on the back. I would start looking in Japan, more that they are more prolific and there is more info out there as some Asian countries are a bit less open.
