First off, pitch any price guide, really means nada with these modern coins.

Second, the true price of that coin and any other is going to be best determined by tracking auctions or auction data such as from ebay. Not for what they are selling for but what they actually went for at auction.

Thirdly, I wouldnt waste my time trying to sell anything to a dealer except straight up bullion rounds. Dont expect them to pay you a premium even if the coin, say a modern NCLT does command a premium which they do, depends on which one, how many etc etc.

In that case, it would be better to sell on ebay where you would get fair market value.

Hey look, dealers are in it to make a profit. I Would bet most would only pay spot then turn around and sell the coin for a premium if the coin warrants one, thats a no brainer. I cant say I can blame them for making a profit but that doesn't mean I Am just going to hand them the profit.

... just looked at ebay... this coin is going for more than spot. I rest my case. I agree tho, most dealers, 90%, if not more, are not going to pay you for that tho. But why do you need them? Sell here, sell on ebay, etc, some collector out there wants it and will buy it from you.
