Hello:I'm new to this forum and to the Coin World and was trying to find some help.I have a 1957D penny that has the date struck twice but not like the 55 I see all the time.It appears that the second set overlapes the first and is slightly to the right.I will see if I can figure out how to attach a picture.I also have a 1956D that the D is almost touching the bottom of the 9.The next item is a 1997 quarter that has a huge double rim at the top and almost 70% down each side along with no rim at all at the bottom.Additional note:I have alot of red and red/brown wheats from the low 40s on up and thought I had some valuble items based on the prices I saw on the PGCS price quide but when I tried to sell them on ebay all I got was alot of people telling me they are not worth much at all but they would make a offer to take them off my hands.Would appreciate it if anybody could put some approx. numbers on these along with there thoughts on the values of the other wheats I have. Thanks again

Does your 57-D look like the one in this picture?

Pennies-And-A-Quarter

If so it's Machine Doubling, quite common and has no added value. Your quarter sounds like a mis-aligned die, also pretty common but it could be off-center and we'd need some pictures to be sure.
