Does this appear to be a 1960 D Large Date over Small Date? I noticed the tip of the 6 in the small date peeping out from the tip of the 6 of the large date. Also, the 9 and 0 look to be thickened by being overstamped by both dies.

This coin appears to be a normal 1960-D large date with some damage on the date. On the large over small date DDO, you can tell by the zero on the date.

Note the thickness on the zero. Hard to miss that.

The end result of the zero in the date would be the same size.
