I'm new to collecting but I think I'm looking at an 1878 7TF with a 1879 reverse. Would like confirmation of that along with any possible VAMs. I grade it better than a VG. Thanx in advance.

Top arrow flight is slanted making it a '79 reverse. A '78 reverse has a straight or parallel top flight feather.
Rest in Peace

It looks like a 78 rev 79 with a C3 reverse/ broken 4th right star. Look at VAM listings 222, 224, 225, 228 and 229 http://www.vamworld.com/C1%2CC2%2CC3

@dave700x ... You have a good eye for VAMs. I have added a close up of the 4th star. Sorry for the poor photo but that's the best I can do with what I've got.

What does the reeds on edge look like? If it looks wider than other morgans you might want to count em up.
