2004 D Jefferson Nickel Reverse Error?

I was going through my pocket change, as I usually do, and I notice something about this nickel. Seeing as how the nickel is generally in decent shape(obviously circulated) and the letters around the area don't have any severe denting.. can someone tell me what this could possibly be? it appears to be 3 triangles on the top reverse side. if this is an error... I think I'll call it the triple pyramid

If the lines on the coin are raised, they are die was scratches making those lines only on the fields. Why? The fields are the outside part of the die face. The devices are set into the die. Thus a die scratch (a raised line) can appear to pass behind a device. The die polishing can leave the fields looks scratched depending on what was used to polish the die. The marks on the tops of the devices are coin damage leaving scratches on coin from contact with another coin or even intentional.

Sometimes the dies are really worked over with something that was not flat, attempting to remove clash marks, altering the deeper devices:
