I agree with you, in fairness to the buyer, the coin should be in hand before its sold considering the value, to ensure its quality is decent. RCMs 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee isn't necessarily long enough for buyer A to ship it to buyer B and then back to Buyer A to return to RCM. Pre-sales of things such as concert tickets are different, it's only a seat number changing hands. |

ebay just overnight killed the listing for this coin! I was in sweet hope to get it for half an issue but I saw bids increased. I left browser on same page and saw the price increase to CAD 900. When tried to refresh the page - came exception with "invalid item id". No mail from ebay, no notification. And it was the seller with 14K+ sales!

I wasn't following that auction but an ebay seller with 14K+ in sales ought to be aware of their presale policy. It states the item must be shipped to the buyer within 30 days of purchase. If RCM isn't intending to mail it to the seller until Sept 6th, shipping it to a secondary ebay buyer within 30 days isn't possible until sold near the middle of August. http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/pre-sale.html |

There's another listing up for a gold star trek delta coin also. 302036227465 on ebay. So since there are two new listings up (with 30 day time frames) does that mean that ebay is now allowing listing for this coin? Also, what happened to the transactions for the few that were actually sold on ebay? Will the transaction between that buyer and seller be interfered with by ebay? Thoughts? |

WildflowerAB, I agree that is kind of suspicious. Sold at List Price (but US funds) - and then feedback left by buyer prior to shipping by mint let alone actually receiving the item. I'm thinking (betting on) buyer and seller are the same.
