Noticed on RCM's Delta Coin's webpage that Mint Boutiques have coin in stock.

Just called and was told that Mint Boutique will start selling Gold Delta Coin on Sep 6th at 10am with line up.

1 coin per customer. ( Manager refuse to tell me how many pcs that Boutique has. )

So, Sept 6-th we can observe some lines (from the early morning or even night) to the RCM boutiques.
Will it be real customers or people, paid by dealers, to get the coin?

Added:
Fresh info received from other forum:
One of the dealers got 10 more Gold Delta coins from RCM!
But does this mean that:
**better give a quick call to all the dealers to secure at lest one more coin
**or not clear why RCM didn't sell it by itself, and already too many coins will be thrown out to the sec market by the dealers and resellers, so the prices will be more soft?

I just noticed that the mint has the Gold Delta back in stock "92% sold" - I was able to put it my cart, and could check out - If I wanted to. - I didn't as I have one already on order.

Nevermind.. I proceeded to the next step, and it no longer appeared in my shopping cart. Very Strange!

Probably, reason being that its 1 coin per house hold.

The mint website probably shows 92% sold because the mint boutiques have the other hundred or so that will be up for sale soon so technically the mint is not sold out of them yet

For those that can get to a RCM boutiques, odd info on the RCM web site when you check store stock. Almost looks like you might not want to bother waiting in a line at Ottawa.

Ottawa AWAITING STOCK
Vancouver IN STOCK
Winnipeg IN STOCK

So is this coin the "New 2013 Superman Gold", or just another 2014 one - big hype and then...nothing?

Why RCM can't mint every coin be popular?

Guessing future value of new release coin is always a difficult and interesting task. ( the coin that appreciate in value )

Delta Gold Coin already proved short term profitability ( for whomever sold the coin )

Long term value is still remain mystery.

Thank you, Wildflower for sharing!
Guys, buy them now, better collectors (who ever collect stuff like this) rather then just resellers will load.

I am not fan of expensive coin-badge...do not see justification (resell maybe)
Patiently waiting for Perth "delta coin" ...very soon

The prices have soften in the last few days as you can buy one now for less than $2000. A familiar pattern is emerging as prices drop with more people selling. Those people that sold first did pretty well.

ebay listings for less than $2000:

$1795 - Buy it Now
$1875 - Buy it Now
$1799 - Auction
$1325 - Auction
$1932 - Buy it Now - Best Offer
$1926 - Buy it Now - Best offer
$1609 - Auction
$1352 - Auction
$1899 - Buy it Now
$1803 - Buy it Now - Best offer

This is so correct!

So who are the people, that searching ebay, and paying for this coin CAD 2000? (I understand, they were afraid, that it will sky-rocket up, which in theory is still possible).

Another question - the Mint haven't find additional dozen of coins somewhere in the "corner", they are accumulated cancellations. Why did people start to cancel the orders, while others paying 1.5 times issue?

@Silveroid.

Do not make your life too complicate guessing what is price trend or future of Delta Gold Coin.

Do it simple way. Like it then buy it. Do not like it then ignore this coin.

Buying numismatic coin is always a risky investment. Buy the coin because of enjoyment of coin collection or enjoyment of gambling.

lol.
