VAM HELP? how about thinking what POINT'S make a coin a VAM? For Morgan dollar's...
Slight hint. Slant date
The thing about VAMS is, We are talking about 50 or so years of error coins,,,,, most are not worth a lot,,,
What you need to do is go to VAMWORLD and look up the dates your interested in....do some studies and figure out what a VAM is or considerable traits of a worthy vams of mention or collectabillity.... IT's alot of fun....and

There you go @baldee, Gene nailed it. It's a slanted date with mint mark centered and upright. If you go to the VAMworld page for 00-O and sort by date position, scroll down to the aforementioned attributes you will find your answer.

Thanks guys! Appears to be a VAM-38...it does have the diagonal die gouge at bottom of loop of R in PLURIBUS.

Not an uncommon VAM but enough going on to make it interesting. Congrats on your first attribution. (the first one is always special)
