Could be my connection here at work but the pictures are not showing up for me. I'll try again from home when I get there.

Your type set is coming along very nicely with some beautiful coins! Which one is your favorite?

That is a great set of pictures showing the changes in US coinage. It's very educational for this Canadian.I have heard the different names of these coins but it is so much easier to know what they refer to when all in one place for comparison.

Nice coins. I love the Bust Half Dime. How did you get the black background so black? This is how professional coin photography looks and I've never understood how that is achieved.

A couple that you'll probably change out someday, but overall very nice.

Of the ones posted so far, I like the circular die break on the 1818 large cent, but I also like the toning on the VDB cent... There are many more favorites I have yet to photograph. My type 2 SLQ comes to mind as well

After I photograph the coin, I use editing software to crop out the coin, feather the edges slightly, and paste to a solid black background. I tried placing the coin on a black surface, but found that using a photographer's gray card works better to get a more accurate color.
