JRG - the only reason I make reference to problem coins is the difficulty in selling them when you finally DO decide to upgrade. Twice bought is usually money lost.

I think that is a very nice looking set of coins I do see where a couple of the coins have hairline scratches, from the days when using a polishing cloth, but I do know pictures pick up on negatives much more than the coin looks in hand. I bet this is a great looking set in hand, I don't see any coins I would be to concerned about upgrading. Many of those coins are as good or better than mine. And I am very happy with my set.

Very pleasant to look at, I still need to add quite a bit of my own set. Thanks for sharing.

Pixlr is a great editing tool for coin pics. Easy to use. Are you using a photo dome or is the light source coming in from above at a slight angle?

I mostly collect because I appreciate art and coins are art to me. As long as there isn't a major problem or distraction, I can usually achieve higher grades that retain more of the sculpture and design, that I would not have been able to afford otherwise. I realize my approach might put me in the minority of collectors though.
