No problem, SHAFTA9a. Are Herring nickels the small silver 5 cent coin? I always called them "Fish Scales". My mother is from Cape Breton Island and my dad calls her a "Herring snapper" haha.

You say you where selling them SilverDon? If you don't want to trade for a local NB token I wll just flat out buy one from you including shipping cost.
Do you know how many were "minted"? I just bought the first edition of "Wooden Money in Atlantic Canada" by Glen Roger and I think it would be cool to bring the newest wooden nickel and the oldest book for coin club's show and tell.

I was selling them at the Central Nova Coin Club table as a volunteer.
I will be checking with the organizers for wooden tokens for everyone tomorrow.
Will send out when I get some. Not sure of the mintage.

I've been called a clam digger, a bluenoser, and worse, but not that, funny.
