It is still deceptive and unethical behavior. Why are you defending him?

It is against the rules to shill (which he does...Arizona Coins and I have experience with his other shilling account). It is also against the rules to not pay for your winnings.

So report him then, why are you here asking everyone else to report him?
I'm not defending him, this new member signed up just to get other members to report this guy.
There's nothing to report.

So.. shills or not, I think we have grounds to report some listings of his. It is against ebay policy to have a numerical grade listed or shown if it is not actually graded. Many of his have a grade in the picture. Report ALL (or his highest priced items if you just want to do a few). Click report, then "prohibited and restricted", then "stamps, currency, coins", then "uncertified coins". If enough of us get a bunch of them removed, he might finally stop some of his bad listings at least.

Guys, then go ahead and report him as Bobby stated. I appreciate your leg work but if you feel it's unethical or deceptive or against ebay rules then report both of them. It's really just that simple.

I DID report him. The point of posting it here is so others can report as well.

I'll say it again, cracking out and selling is NOT against ebay rules.

And I will say it again, I reported him for putting a numerical grade on a raw coin, which IS against ebay rules.

If enough people ask him how the XF40 damaged coin became AU-55, he may abandon the scam. Or not.

"I'll say it again, cracking out and selling is NOT against ebay rules." REALLY? I could have sworn ebay frowns on Significantly Not As Described (SNAD) in fact, SNAD is the only reason you can return a coin even if you don't accept returns or if it's after the return policy period. Cracking-out and selling is OK, but LYING about a coins known defects is NOT ie: midwest_fun purchased this 1803 Cent NGC AU details-cleaned: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1803-SM-Dat...141934561713He promptly cracked it out and changed the coin to (MS-62)BU++ Red-Brown: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1803-Draped...262401285309He just ripped-off some novice for over $1,000 If that's not a crime, than I don't know what is.

$1,625 for a raw coin, does not offer returns, who does business like that? I'd never buy from anyone that sells like that, but I'm afraid its just part of the business. Dealers have always bought coins with problems and sold them without mentioning the problems or buying and selling a grade higher. The only thing new here is that he uses the same public venue for buying and selling so you are able to track exactly what he is doing.
I wouldn't assume that someone that spends $1,625 is a novice, but if they can't see wear on an AU-55 coin, then maybe they should stick to certified coins. This particular windmill was addressed 30 years ago by ANACS and then PCGS, I'm not sure any more needs to be done about it.
