Given that gold was cheap throughout the '70s, it's regretful that RCM didn't mint both silver and gold collector dollars each year for the general public to buy, during that era. john100 Pillar of the Community Canada 5324 Posts	Posted 08/31/2016 8:06 pm If Mr. Moore told me the history on this coin, and he was there in the US auction where the coin was seized, he offered a unit at 2012 or 13 Torex under the table with full disclosure, if you want there are a few copies probably sell for around 17 to 20 grand.
