Moneta seated by chest gazing at Georgia coat of arms.

I've had the set for a while, thought I'd share. Only one I'm missing is the 500, but I've never seen it for sale, yet. These are uniface notes from Milledgeville Georgia and offer the bearer the amount in Confederate treasury notes.

Anyone own the 500?

Heritage Auctions has an example for sale in their auction coming up in two days. http://currency.ha.com/itm/obsolete...ption-071515

The one above was in the Eric P. Newman collection.

Good luck if you decide to bid on it.

Ugh that is nice, wish I could get it and complete the Moneta set, but not at this time unfortunately. That's a little more then I would probably be willing to pay for it, even if it does complete the set. One day.. I'll find just the right one. I'm actually not even all that crazy about these, I really never had the intentions of creating a set when I first started. Couple of these Milledgeville notes actually are from the time period when I was just starting to collect. I believe it may have been the 5 or the 20 that was one of my firsts If I recall correctly.

Thank you for that Meadowview.
