found it last night searching through some rolls of coins I got from a friend of mine

Have you check other examples from that year? A lot of things pointed out are part of the normal design. The mark on the last 'T' on TRUST is a contact mark. The top of the 'U' on trust is the only thing that is slightly different from another example I was looking at from heritage coins.

coop I did look but I couldn't find anything that would match it.

Looks like someone took this nickel out of circulation a long time ago. Nice Full Steps too, might be a good one to send off.
