Are these things really legal in the US? Such fantasy creations of Canadian coins would be illegal to own. Counterfeit laws are much tighter here, perhaps that's why counterfeit circulation coins are less prominent here, zero tolerance pushes off a lot of fence-sitters, those who don't know where to draw the line.

Yes, since there were no official coinage with these dates produced, they are not counterfeit products. There is lots of documentation on Daniel Carr's website.

Quote: Get 'em while they are available, they usually sell-out quick You are a bad influence I logged off of all of the watch forums I frequent May 1 when I was finally debt free. I am about to have someone change my ebay password so I am not tempted to bid on anything I don't really "need" when I see a good deal that I can't pass up. I stick around here to post my halves and dollars spent but if you guys keep posting all of these "opportunities" I am goign to have to disappear here as well Thanks to YOU I just ordered the 1915 SLQ to fill the 1916 hole in my album and the 1922 SLQ to fill the 1923S hole since I slabbed mine when I told myself I wanted o buy mine raw and keep it raw so my album would be complete but I couldn't pass up the ANACS free grading special and sent them in.

Thanks for that link. I have lots of Mercury dimes and really need some of those. A bit expensive, but for the fun of those, I think I'll go for some. Went back and looked at prices. For my Merc Dime it is $65 and $10 Postage. A bit to high for me.

Beautiful! How strong or weak is the nipple in-hand. Kinda looks weak but I'm wondering if that's photo glare.
And how strong is it on an ms true example? Haven't seen one in person
