50 Sen: Need help with the date. I looked at a lot of symbols and I think I know the date, but want to be sure.

I also noticed that my coin only has 3 symbols on the opposite side of the dragon.

Reading the date right to left, the first two symbols mean the Meiji Dynasty, the next is ten, the next is eight, and the last is year. Ten added to eight is eighteen, and the eighteenth year of the Meiji Dynasty would be 1885.

It would make sense for the opposite side to have only three symbols. The first is five, the next is ten, and the last is sen. It just says fifty sen.
