I am new to the coin collecting thing..and I need help with a coin I have it is a Korea 1905 to 08 silver 1/2 won I wanted to know if anyone could tell me what its worth and who I could sell it to or where to put it up for auction at?please I need help

My Krause 32nd edition lists that coin as KM 1129 (years 1905-06), KM 1135 for 1907 and KM 1141 for 1908. Values range from $65 in F to $550 in UNC depending on the year.

If you posted a picture we could be more specific.

I am not sure if auction houses would want to bother with one single coin of a relatively low value. Perhaps someone here has direct experience with them.

Photos do matter for this particular coin.

Average price in VF condition is easily in 100+ dollars. I haven't seen any in F condition. XF condition would see it go over 200 - 300 dollars. In particular 1908 1/2 won is worth more due to the lower mintage figures.
