Hey guys, I was just looking through my coin jar and found this strange quarter. I'm wondering if you could help me out!
Thanks

I agree, Dryer Coin. The edges were worn down so much that it looks like a super raised rim. The lack of reeding is a giveaway.
The bulge is PMD from heating

I don't think this is a Dryer Coin since the devices aren't affected like I would expect. I think the coin was spooned (tapped lightly with a spoon or small hammer around the edge).

What is the weight? If it is normal it looks like it has been altered. If it is less than normal it maybe have been reduced on the edge to remove the reeds. But I don't see the roll over on the edge like you would find on a Dryer Coin.
