I like my 1917 Mangy Buffalo. It just looks cool.

I've always liked this even though technically it's not really a coin but a telephone token from Israel.

I'd have to say my 1803 Draped Bust large cent that I found while metal detecting. It was my first OLD coin find and it happens to be my favorite coin design also.

Up until a couple of hours ago, I'd have said my 1940-S Jefferson nickel. I found it when I was in about 7th grade and it is the oldest coin I ever pulled out of pocket change. Its not in great condition, its not really worth much, but that is the coin that got me excited about collecting to begin with. Tonight as I was going through 30 rolls of nickels with my 9 year old son who is starting to put together his own coin collection, I pulled a nice looking 1939-D. Pulling a key date like that while sorting nickels with my son puts it at the top of my list.
