To me, it looks like someone just smashed a quarter on another. Nothing makes sense. But I'm not familiar with dbl struck coins other than the basics, so I'm looking for opinions

I am not too accustomed to these coins but I am not entirely sure what to call it. If looks like it would be a mirrored brockage if anything. But I am not entirely sure, let's wait for the experts

Agreed, it looks off, what I mentioned is best case scenario :)
I also believe that it is fake

hmmm

some pretty heavy pressure used for the "second strike" (more than I would expect from a hammer or vise job) - it obliterated the original devices.

BUT, the beads remained untouched?

To me it looks as fake as the day is long..IMO

It didn't obliterate the original devices as much as an actual strike would IMO. To also get the caribou + queen and the community + some other design isn't really possible, is it?

Thanks for the replies guys! hopefully no one gets fooled at $600

Not sure if there's much I can do other than talk to the seller (whom I'm guessing knows exactly what this coin is)
