Every once in a while, someone will dump a mini collection of very nice radiates on
ebay, and they usually get taken to the cleaners, with the lot usually settling in around $3-4 per coin. Saw these guys and just had to do the taking this time around.
Tetricus I, Gallic Emperor
270-273 AD
Coin 1:
HILARITAS AVGG, Hilaritas standing left, holding long palm branch and cornucopia. RIC 80. Seems to have been struck with fresh dies on both sides. I am loving this photo-realistic portrait!

Coin 2:
LAETITA AVG N; Laetita standing left, holding anchor and wreath. RIC 90.

The lot, for anyone who is interested:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/14197534730...RK:MEBIDX:ITAlso included are a few okay Claudius II, some decent Gallienus, some nice Constantine I, a rough Theodora, a tragically broken Postumus that would have been amazing, and some silver including an old Republic denarius of Coelia, and a Valerian I Pietas reverse.
