I do hear some people finding older type coins and silver coinage while coin roll hunting. But has anyone find a huge hit, like a key date coin or gold coinage while coin roll hunting? I'm so curious. There is a person on the internet who found a quarter eagle in a roll of coins.

Folks in each dedicated forum have made incredible finds. I encourage you to page through the denominations and become inspired!

Some variety finds reach into the thousands of dollars. Some great semi-key and even key date finds. And yes, there is silver and gold to be had if you're lucky!

The sterling mini-bar was worth $0.60 and the gold Ducat worth spot ($125 at the time). As I noted, the variety hunters have made the most impressive finds (e.g. 1992 CAMs). Good luck on the hunt!
