I wanted to ask something. How much USD coin do you pull in an average roll?

I noticed dimes contain a lot more USD than quarters for example.

I haven't been CRHing much lately, but about a year ago, out of 1000 nickels, there were 32 US.

Haven't done it in awhile... but I was getting 4-8 bucks per box .... regardless of denomination...

If I was just going to extract USD... I would personally just get boxes of quarters... so quick and easy to pick them out of the rolls.

over the past year, I have been saving up the US change and taking it to the USA and exchanging it for bills (then exchanging bills back for CAD$ back here) I have also notice that for me the nickels and quarters usually balance out quantity wise, while the dimes are usually 30 to 40% higher in volume.

I think first off you get 10 more coins in a roll of dime (50 dimes vs 40 quarters or nickels) so the possibility of getting more dimes is greater

BTW the best deposit I had of US change was $2700

I was surprised, I only picked up (4) rolls of dimes at the time vs many more rolls of quarters (20). There was a lot of US dimes in those (4) rolls, vs very few quarters.

Just a question about coin roll hinting American. The American quarters are non magnetic so wouldn't they be rejected in bank rolls as silver coins. So you would have to go for customer rolled coin for higher chances of getting them right. Interesting non the least, living in a boarder town it might be quite interesting to see what would happen.

I live about 20 minutes from the border in metro Vancouver, you are correct I find more in customer wrapped rolls than in the machine wrapped.

I had a lot better results, I think had around 13-15 dimes in 4 rolls. Mind you these were casino rolls. I'm also in Vancouver, but closer to border.

Hey ace_ftw I'm curios, 1921 cent. I got one of these. Anything special about this year?

Vatreni, there is nothing special about the 21 penny, I just like the design.
