The area above the jagged line is on a higher plane than the area below. The jagged line forms a "cliff". The area south is sunken. What would this be called? What happened? I know it is too minor to trouble with, but I am curious!

To me, it just looks like displaced metal that was pushed up from a hit.

Yeah PMD , An indicator is your coin from shabby photos looks pretty beat up .
