I am pretty sure this is the one listed on CC.
The only thing I'm not seeing is the split at the top of the mint mark. I have the markers. What do you all think ? Is it the 1979D-1MM-003 ?

Thanks John. Would rather know the truth than think I have something I don't.

The 003 is larger than you think, but seeing it side by side with one of these damaged punch examples, show that it is a RPM on the 003.

The damaged punch examples don't hold a candle.

No. It is an another example of a die that was punched with the damaged punch that year. (this is found on different dies and even on different denominations until the punch was replaced.
