I suspect it is an older holder so no Sac or State Quarters. Just a basic set. Thank you to the folks who helped me complete it! This is actually my first complete type set; holder or otherwise. lol

My scans aren't the best. My Liberty Head Nickel is, I believe 1883. I should find one with a 20th Century date, but it is a nice one.

This is also my first completed album. So Congratulations to you on yours. It took me about 4 months to put mine together. You have some nice coins.

Looking good!
It is interesting to note the contrast between proofs and circulated coins.

There are the Ikes Nice sets, both of you. Is there anything in the 1943 slot? The light makes it hard to see.

Yup! They fit nicely I think. There is a Steelie that seems to have delusions of grandeur. LOL It is XF-AU but wants to shine like a lightbulb.

Both very nice sets. Half - I LOVE your holder! It looks like it could be framed and mounted on the wall. I did mine in a Littleton folder. I was (literally) able to complete it and the 21st Type set, in just one evening! The Littleton 20th Century Type Set included a "Birth year section", so I used my wife's birth date and gave her the completed set. Jack

This may just be a little off topic, but these type sets exclude all the commemorative 50 cent pieces, with the exception of the 1976 one.
Granted that it would quite costly to assemble this grouping, but logically, are these not part of the 20th century type set as well?
If they are not 20th century types, why not?

Thank you guys for the kind words! @Jack316. You are absolutely right. It is housed in a picture frame, only thing it is missing is a wall hanger. @oriole. You are right from a technical POV. This is meant to be a basic circulating 20th century type set. I do not think that many commemoratives were meant to circulate besides the Bicentennial set and State Quarters.

Nice job on the type set! Is it hard to find US coins in Spain?

I'll give you two answers. lol
For me it is not hard as I am US military stationed here. I can order stuff and have it shipped to me via USPS for only a little more than if I was living stateside. Sometimes there is no extra charge. But it is annoying when I run across a place that does not ship to APO/FPO. lol
For a Spaniard it would be fairly difficult. Taxes are noticeably higher and here. If you were to buy something from outside of the EU it would be subject to import taxes as well. I found a clad US dime in a junk bin for 40 euro cent and chuckled to myself. The closest coin shop that I have found is about 1.5 hours up the road in Seville.
