There seems to be some extra claws on this '86 nickel. Hopefully these shots are good enough to see what I mean. Is it anything?

I just got a bunch of Zoell's books, which list TONS of varieties like this... but it was published in the '60s haha.

Could be Die Deterioration on the back claw...

There is a 1986 nickle extra claw variety shown on the Coinsandcanada.com site but it appears to be from a different die than your example.

I saw that '86 on coinsandcanada, doesn't appear to be the same thing as this.

I still need the Zoell books!
