The Royal Oak Mint (Royal Oak, MI) created attractive reproductions of Gasparro's design in silver; BU and Proof examples were produced.

These replicas, in compliance with the Hobby Protection Act, featured the word "COPY" on the reverse between "United" and "One".

The example shown here appears to have scratches and metal removed in the same location. It makes me wonder if this piece has been altered and had "Copy" removed.

The rims don't seem to match the thickness seen on the ROM pieces, so the piece was likely manufactured by another firm.
