Hello , fellow numismatists .
I'm having trouble indentificar that coin .
They told me that it is " Gwalior 1/4 Anna 1896-1901 " .
Can anyone tell me what coin is this?

@prsferreira, I recommended to the mods that they move your post into the main world coin area as it should get more eyeballs on it there.

Also, you will see multiple posts in CCF about the coins of Gwalior if you use the search function. I'd recommend reading some of those old posts as a good starting point, but you should have experts weighing in as well.

It is Gwalior Paisa of Jawad mint. Paisa (PICE) was otherwise called 1/4 Anna as four paise formed one anna. you can see a curved sword below the line if you rotate the bottom image 90 degrees anticlockwise. That fixes it to Gwalior. You can see the same bottom image as KM# 97 in the Krause catalogue. Coins of those days have various obverse and reverse combinations. There is no consistency in them and so if one side is conforming it is enough to make an identification. So I feel that the curved sword and the coin's pattern are sufficient to identify this as Gwalior Paisa.
