I don't normally collect world coinage, mostly just Canadian stuff but this one really looked neat and still had some luster to it so I picked it up. I really liked the die crack through the word "France" and there's another die crack from the "X" at 11 o'clock to the shield. Any info you could give to me on this one would greatly be appreciated.. I have never seen a French bronze coin of this era, quite as nice as this one. I suspect that the pricing of these in Krause in top condition is too low. Report this Post to the Staff

His continuing maChinations to undermine the Revolution only resulted in a further waning of what little remained of authority and power, leading to his being formally deposed in 1792 and finally guillotined in early 1793.
