Machine damaged devices after the strike.

It does look like an RPM though. Maybe a straight-on closeup would help identify that.

It is part of the machine damage showing in the same direction that affected the tops of the date digits. All part of the same MD that damaged the devices after the strike.

I see the MD on the top of the MM, but there are also split serifs.

Blurry but I do believe I see split serifs also

Looking closer there is a minor RPM in the serifs. (tilted) But the upper loop is affected by the MD just like the tops of the date are showing the same affect, from the same direction.
