@cascade, hmmm that is a tough one. I played with the contrast on the second pic and oriented in differently. It kinda looks like the right half of a crown now. Hope this helps someone with the ID. Also, this coin was pretty hefty prior to being quartered--accounting for the kerf, it was 33 or 34 mm in diameter.
