I found this site a couple of months ago, just joined because I'm learning a lot and have a number of questions I'll eventually ask (in the proper forums, of course).
I started collecting as a kid (mid 70s) -- mainly by roll-hunting plus the occasional oddball purchase or holiday present. I stopped around college time, then bought a few proof sets around Y2K mainly for the State Quarters. When I went back last year to finish the set, I discovered I did not store them properly (toning in the case) so I started over with slabbed versions. Now I'm hooked again.
I'm now actively collecting Kennedy and Franklin halves, and working towards a type collection for the variety of circulated designs. I particularly like Peace dollars and the Indian quarter/half eagles, and commemoratives with buildings. Is that too much?
