Starting now the 50 Days of Lincoln cents will be yearly, not bi-yearlyHello! Sorry for stealing the idea from Moe's "Days Of" threads, I just want to see some wheat cents  So now, may I present to you... The second act of Lincoln Cents! How it WorksOn the first day, July 2nd, 2016 (TODAY), we will all post our 1909 wheat cents. We will continue posting until we reach 1958. It will be a sad day Rules:-1 Day grace for catching up (rule doesn't apply to key dates  ) -Only Lincoln Wheat Cents -Major error and variety coins welcome Calendar6/2/16- 1909 6/3/16- 1910 6/4/16- 1911 6/5/16- 1912 ... You get the rest So, without further to do... LETS GET POSTING!

The back story to the coin was that some small part of it was used in photos to illustrate some aspect of the 09 VDBs. The back of the coin is toned somewhat darker - more towards the brown side - but it is still a nice coin and the obverse has nice color. The lighting on the photo is indoor, halogen, which tends towards the red end a bit but is accurate for how they look in that type of light.
