And yes it has been cleaned since it was encrusted with the cheap plastic material the the tokens were stored in for a long time. jws1955 New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 05/01/2017 4:35 pm I have a so-called dollar from the Century of Progress. The entire coin is in art deco style. Obverse - Eagle in center. Lettering around rim "CENTURY OF PROGRESS EXPOSITION". Reverse - Top "CHICAGO - 1934". Center raised fist with rod or tool handle (I assume fist is allegory for solidarity or organized labor) with waves on either side (Assume these are the north and south branches of the Chicago river). On either side of wrist Union Shield on left and shield with scales of justice on the right. It is unlisted in either Hibler and Kappen or the more comprehensive list in Volume V (1965) of the Token & Medal Society Newsletter. https://archive.org/stream/journalo...116/mode/2up I have uploaded a picture of the obverse & reverse.
