1969-S Lincoln Cent, Minor Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Or ?

Dustin6 Pillar of the Community United States 3516 Posts	Posted 06/04/2016 10:16 am looks like Machine Doubling to me. Note how the size of the devices is reduced. Also, until 1989. the mintmarks were hand punched into the dies so on doubled dies until 1990 the mintmark will not be doubled. Machine Doubling is very common in the 60's and 70's and it is very easy to get fooled. Keep on searching and good luck. Report this Post to the Staff
