I have got $25 on me! Right now however I'm saving up, but that's for another topic. Right now are on me getting tips for CRH'ing pennies. Now I do know exactly what to look for in a degree: wheat pennies, Indian head pennies, copper pennies, possible errors, etc. I also have two plans for disposal of the unwanted pennies. Plan A is take it to a Coinstar machine and try the eGift Card option. I could have iTunes, GameStop, or others to pick from on that option, and no rip-off fee, so there you go! Plan B is for if I am really patient. This plan would be to dump them off at a different bank so I don't have any issues with the same back that I got my coins from! Now I have a couple of questions that I'll need some tips for. One, how would I be able to avoid getting a 2016 box? I know looking through the new pennies might look into some errors, but I think we're interested in older errors, not newer! Two, do I do special order? I heard that's the best thing to do to avoid hastle and allow the banktellers to know that I have a box waiting for me to pick up and it'll be there! And third, is it really $25 to get the box? Are there any hidden strings attached? I will not CRH if it costs more to get a box from the bank compared to its face value (well depends on the actual cost)! Would appreciate if these questions were answered, cause some dudes were recommending me to try CRH'ing! Edited by BoojiBoyTravis 06/04/2016 10:51 pm

You're gonna have fun ! And I wish you luck searching too... As long as you order the boxes from your bank, it's only $25.00...no fees. I've asked countless random banks for boxes too....no charge (but they may not have spare boxes for you. So ordering boxes from your bank is best. If I get all new Lincolns, I just hand them right back or go to a different bank and "cash them in" or ask to exchange for different box.

That's great eaglefoot! How would I know if they were 2016 pennies without seeing the date? I supposed they'd be extremely shiny and new! Oh wait! I have some 2016 pennies on me! But seriously, great tips eaglefoot!

Many of the boxes come with manufacturered holes in them so the receiver can see and identify the contents. So if that's what you get, it's easy to look without having to open the box.... If you get the type that DON'T have view holes, it would be rude to open it right there, see that you don't want them because they're all new, and then hand them back to the teller for your $25.00 cash back. That's why you just take it and go to a different bank to do that.

Enjoy it while it lasts! It's been about a year since I last sat down with a box, and that was only because a relative had been saving every last penny.

I don't know why you guys just don't put those 2016's on e-bay . there are a lot of collectors who can't for some reason or another get rolls of the new Lincolns . Your getting them for face anyway .

I've never bought or sold anything on ebay....but doing that with a box of 2016's seems like alot of work, energy, and time, for what is surely, very little compensation. Or what are the rolls going for ?
