Hey guys found this penny earlier and am completely baffled. I'm almost positive 99% sure this is PMD, a well done PMD. I think someone sandwiched this coin between two other pennies with a vice... However it isn't as smashed flat as I would except it to be, this is confusing to type but the 1999 penny details are strong and not smashed down, if you smashed a penny on top of it... I did take it to two coin shops one said they thought it could be real and the other didn't say anything or could even come up with an explanation how this would happen. What do you guys think?!

I would say PSD aka PMD. Not sure how it was done but looks like a vise was used.

They must have very knowledgeable staff at those two coin shops....to provide such helpful advice.

Seen these lots of times in the past. Yes it is sort of fun making them by pushing two together in a vice.
