I found both of these nickels coin roll hunting but a couple years apart. It looks like an issue with the die on the top of Jefferson's head where there is a small raised bit of medal. Any info on what's going on would be cool to know. Thanks!

Looks like a match to me.

Are there any distinctive marks on the reverses?

Looks good to me. Really cool find. I would also like to see the reverse for any more die cracks or scratches.

Unusual to see a chip that deep in the die. Very cool. Of course both coins were struck by the same die.

There is nothing unusual on the reverse.

I was just wondering if both coins came from the same die pair. But if the reverses are unremarkable there is no way to know.

It's great that you have TWO of them!
