Are PL coins Vammed in the same way business strike coins are? I only ask because these seem to be really hard to find the VAMs on for me.

Are most of these "normal" dies?

The fields are so flat on mine with no distinguishing marks at all.

Should I just concentrate on MM and date position on these?

I know dumb questions...but I have looked at mine a lot and still haven't nailed these down.

Nope, good questions. VAMming a PL Morgan is no different than any other business strike Morgan. Depending on the issue it is as you mentioned, start with date position and mint mark position if applicable. After that follow the sort by at the top of the VAM page.
