JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21631 Posts	Posted 06/09/2016 2:48 pm From what I understand, it is a legit error. Somehow the US Mint in 1970 struck some quarters over Canadian 1941 quarters. I can't remember all the details, but apparently somehow they have been released to the public. They are supposed to be selling for around 3-5 thousand each on ebay. What you have to watch for are scammers trying to sell 1970 quarters as the error variety. If I can find the article again, I will report more info.
