From what I understand, it is a legit error.
Somehow the US Mint in 1970 struck some quarters over Canadian 1941 quarters. I can't remember all the details,
but apparently somehow they have been released to the public.
They are supposed to be selling for around 3-5 thousand each on ebay.
What you have to watch for are scammers trying to sell 1970 quarters as the error variety.
If I can find the article again, I will report more info.

A Canadian 1941 quarter is silver .. the US 1970 isn't. It should be easy as heck to tell the difference. Why even look for the (clash?) or whatever they are calling it. It's easy enough to tell .800 silver from nickel.
