I know a number of people in the past have asked where to find these online. Three of Dr. Courteau's works have been made digitally available by The J. Douglas Ferguson Historical Research Foundation.

Search under the Foundation's full name and the site's "Book" sub menu (new members are discouraged from posting links so no can do here).

Now if only the current owner of Charlton Press would do the same, with the Hans Zoell publications... one can always dream I suppose...

Doctor Courteau's tomes are legendary and most significant.
However, a few areas should be understood...

Dr. Courteau's verbiage takes some getting used to. Be patient.

To conserve space, Dr. Courteau often uses abbreviations.

Many entries are written in Old-English and have to be understood
as such. i.e., the Old-English 'before' is understood nowadays as 'after.'

The optics available in Dr. Courteau's era were not as precise as what
we have today.

Dr. Courteau had no access to a computer.

Doctor Courteau never anticipated his work being wholly complete,
but rather an excellent genesis for further research and investigation.

A few proof-readers / printers oversights went uncorrected.

I am mentioning this to be helpful and by no means to be critical,
for Dr. Courteau's work is the best available.

enjoy

doug
