Type 'A' are the common business strike quarters: 'A' on DOLLAR does not connect with the leaf.
Type 'B' are retired proof reverses: These can only be found on the Philly quarters.
Type 'C' is on the 1964-D reverses that show have the reverse of 1965 on them: Note the designation differences on the image on the right side. Probably the first PUP would be the tail feathers. On the Type 'A' they are weak. Then note other devices as mentioned.
