I bought this one because there were detail still visible comparing most other ones I look at, a few minor dings not really noticeable before taking photos. Once I enlarge the photo, every flaw appears. Sigh!

Hold the coin up next to the screen image.
Notice the comparative difference in sizes.
No wonder all the dings show.
Even the TPG graders don't look at coins blown up that large.
If they did there would NEVER be MS/PF-70 coins.
They very often don't use magnification.
BUT if they look at a magnified view it's generally at 3x.
5x or higher is only used only to ID varieties.

Don't worry about your coin.
The dings are normal for circulated pieces.

Low end VF sharpness, but down graded to Fine because of cleaning and some edge issues.

I need to acquire a better example in the future, mean time I will used as a hole filler.

I had a few "hole fillers" in my type set before I started to do some serious upgrading. This 1853 dime was in my set at one time. It had a coat of artificial toning, but I got my money out of it when I purchased an upgrade.
