Pistareen Valued Member United States 309 Posts	Posted 07/06/2016 6:43 pm This appears to be a wonderful old cast copy that includes an especially egregious error in that the fake jeweler's stamp "JK" was cut backward, messing up the finished product. The jeweler's mark was to give the impression of coin examined and passed by a coin regulator and certified good weight. This was probably intended for the China trade. I think it has good age to it and could not find it in SwamperBob's book on Counterfeit Portrait Eight Reales. Neat Coin! Report this Post to the Staff
