1903 Indian Head With Double Rim Die Strike

Dmc1451 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 06/11/2016 7:38 pm I have this Indian head but cannot get a good picture as it is very dark so I drew the condition. There is a row of small strike marks inside the rim in a similar pattern to the rim detail but almost looks like small letters. Can anyone help with this?c Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

If the marks look like a bunch of tiny dents then I'd lean toward post-strike damage of some sort. If the marks are raised... well, that could be something. Report this Post to the Staff
