I have this Indian head but cannot get a good picture as it is very dark so I drew the condition. 1903-Indian-Head-With-Double-Rim-Die-StrikeThere is a row of small strike marks inside the rim in a similar pattern to the rim detail but almost looks like small letters. Can anyone help with this?c Thanks

Without seeing the coin we can only guess.

Are these marks raised above the fields or incuse? If the marks look like a bunch of tiny dents then I'd lean toward post-strike damage of some sort. If the marks are raised... well, that could be something.

I see what you are seeing. whatever it is, it didn't come out of the mint like that. It is what we call PSD or Post Strike Damage.
